how in the hell do you get the slave cylinder assmbly of the clutch pedel an out of fire wall???? thanks again guys

The clutch pedal is connected to the clutch pedal push rod via a small plastic retainer clip. It should pop off. The plastic clip is a wear item and needs replacing. Once you get it off inspect the clutch pedal where it connects to the push rod. Over time the plastic clip will wear out and put further wear on the push rod end and also the pedal to rod connection point. I have seen the rod end and pedal connection point worn and had to replace the pedal assembly and rod.
Next look upward from the floorboard inside toward the firewall and locate the push rod through the firewall. If I remember correctly there will be two nuts in the same surrounding area. Remove nuts and look where the rod goes through the firewall, you will see a plastic square with a pointed notch on the square. From that square it should twist slightly and can be removed from outside through the firewall. To disconnect at the transmission it just twist out.
If you are replacing the slave cylinder be sure to get the whole unit which should be slave/master/push rod and will be a prebled unit. Do not attempt piecing this together as it will be a nitemare trying to bleed it. Extra parts will be plastic retainer clip and pedal if needed.
