small vertical shaft diesel

I keep going through lawn mower moters about 2 per summer. probably because I get them from harbor freight:badidea: but if I could spend a little extra on a diesel motor that would be really cool. does any body make them? all I can find is horizontal shaft motors. if I can find one I will have a diesel in everything I own:woohoo:

The only vertical shaft diesel I've seen is made my Hatz and its hella expensive.

Its maddening as I see china clone horizontal shaft diesels on fleabay and such for only a few hundred, but a hatz diesel is $1200 and up.
