Hi guys,, haven't been around for awhile. But I am in the process of deleting the dpf on my 2012, I have a smarty and I also have the smarty me file loaded on my S67. My question is this, isn't their and option to turn off the DPF, or does it just happen automatically? AND, if this is the case, I would imagine that I can not drive the truck with the ME files installed until I actually get the dpf off of there?

The ME don't ask you for delete it just does when you program. You can drive it no problem with the exhaust intact but eventually it will clog the dpf. Good luck with the ME on the 12s, usually have to switch to h&s to get them running right/code free, yours may be a exception though.
 
I have been running the smarty (non ME) for the last few months, been working great! One other question, does the ME software also delete the EGR?
 
Yes, the old body style had to leave main EGR valve plugged in (even if removed), but I believe 4th gens can unplug all EGR system and not throw codes.
