Actually test driving over weekend. It's almost perfect except for, the EGR has been removed without a tuner so it's running on maybe 1/3 power.
Dpf is SO plugged it died on the freeway. Won't even idle.
Had to have someone bring me some tools do I could unhook the dp and her moving again.

Now I've got a decision to make. Find a egr and cooler so it will pass the visual then find a tuner to turn it all of and install an exhaust system so the poor thing can breath.

Oh yah, it puked antifreeze on the way back to the shop as well. Didn't notice until I stopped and saw a few drips.

Off to a great start with this one.

In it's defense, it wasn't puking till I pushed in the way back after unhooking the exhaust.
I was a tad irritated so yah.

If you need EGR coolers let me know. I just deleted 2 trucks. Neither leaked.
 
I love those trucks. I think you did good. I have an H&S XRT Pro for sale. And close to SLC. That'll get you back into good running order without having to "undelete" it.

don't overtorque the studs! you don't want to crack the block

put a new OEM/Ford/Intl oil cooler and thermostats in it
 
Ah $hit... I didn't even think about the lifters and it's back together...

I'll get the oil cooler/ t-stats taken care of Monday.
DAMN.. the lifters......
 
While you're in there international pistons are cheap insurance as well lol

That's probably a tad too far.

Hell I just don't own my trucks long enough to justify pistons unless they are bad.
Like my last truck...... :(
