what rear axle does a 1993 W250 4x4 manual trans truck have in it ? is it an D80 ?
and does it have a Getrag or a NV4500 ? if a getrag are they as strong as a Nv4500 for pulling ? do they make DD clutches for them?

is a 1st gen lighter or heavier than a gen 2 truck ? a quad longbox versus a quad longbox ?
 
Dana 70 rear, Getrag trans, not sure about clutch or sled pulling use, 1st gen is about 1000lbs lighter than 2nd gen.
 
Yes they make clutches, I am runnin a Southbend 3600 DD with my Getrag.
