Hello all, need alittle info on this new age coal burner
My wife's 2010 2500 with 116000miles and got the turbo dying codes P2262 & P2563.
I am looking at ~$5k from dodge installed with a 2yr warranty including labor. I have found new replacements with one yr warranties for ~$2500 and reman'd turbos for ~$1500. My question is, I want to delete/turn off(egr system first, replace/Hollow out dpf in time, etc) I would rather leave the appearance that it is all there. Is there a basic tuner/downloader that is not a grand or better that will let me turn off this crap. Not wanting to bump the power as I don't want any trans issues/or speeding tickets, she drives it like she stole it now. I just want to get rid of/turn off the excess crap and stop circulating exhaust in to the motor and killing the new turbo.
