The redundant "looking to buy" thread

I know I know. But I figured I'd ask anyways. Looking at a 97 F350 CCLB tomorrow, 260k miles, rebuilt trans 50K ago, mods seem simple (intake, exhaust, powerchips) but it's on 9" of lift and 39" tires. What's going to be my 'run away' from things to look at. I've heard from a Thor party the guy takes good care of the truck and it looks well maintained in pics, just want to ensure I don't overlook something that even he may be unaware of.

Said it had a new water pump put in 5 months ago, 50% tread on tires (which I'll likely knock down to 37's when they're ready) it'll be a DD for me, towing duty will be light (ATVs and a side by side)

Thanks for any input

Body rust is the number 1 enemy on the OBS's, everything else is fixable.. Cab corners, wheel wells, cab mounts, above the windshield, core support, especially the oil pan since the motor has to come out.
