Hello guys I have a project that has been slow going. I bought a 98 12v with blowby. I got it cheap and has assumptions the back two cylinders were worn. The engine had 264k on it. It ran well and we pulled the head off and low and behold 5&6 worn. It was std and I took it all the way apart. I had to beat 5 and 6 out because of the ridge the rings wouldn't go past. I took the block to the machine shop. He says it won't clean at .020. My question is should I coolant bypass it and if so use a ball valve or a watts 530? I'm planning on maybe 600hp. Thanks for the help

X2 on 50psi. My valve was preset at 55 but I set it back to 50.

Im going to buy the billet rear coolant plate. Were is the best place to mount the watts valve? On the back of the plate do you just screw it in there and is there enough room it will not hit the cab? Would anyone have a picture on how they installed it? Thanks

Eatsoot.com. cheapest price and great looking part. Jesse is a vendor.
