The valve body and the torque converter are where your gonna get hit the hardest. :bang If you want to do it yourself you can purchase a rebuild kit off Ebay with good brand name clutches, steels, and seals for $150-200. The best bang for the buck on a valve body is by far Lavon Miller (In my opinion) who goes by LAMiller on here. Then you need a good flex plate...PRW sells a nice double thickness "laminated" flex plate for less than $200. Then you need to decide if you need a billet input shaft $700 @ any vendor. Just my $.02
