I'm just getting started building a 93 6BT to go into my 97 F350 that I hot shot with. I'm going to be chucking the ZF5 regardless because its already scratching in 2nd and I'm not going to spend money on a rebuild AND a $700 adapter. I originally just figured I would just throw a NV4500 in it, but I'm contemplating a 47RH now becuase I can build one and install it for just a little more.

What kind of cooler setup would I need to keep this cool while loaded down with my 3 car trailer? Engine will be mildly set up 350-375HP for reliabliity sake.

I run a derale with fan under the cab and cooler up front about like a stock dodge cooler and my fluid temps never go over 150.

A Ford 5R110 cooler was recommended to me on another site... I see now what my boss was talking about.

His last auto 7.3 was getting HOT when towing his 44' car trailer so he swapped out the 7.3 cooler for the 5R110 cooler and no more issues.
