Transmission shop opinions needed...

I'm needing a transmission shop, either around Jacksonville, AR, or a mail-order type place.

I'm needing my ZF6 rebuilt. Anyone know a good shop, or if I can even do the build by myself? Speed of the build is not an issue, since I won't be seeing the truck until December or so anyways....

From what Ive found not many tranny shops want to mess with a manual.They usually try and sell you a rebuilt one and just install it.
Might not be a bad option for ya there.

I have thought very hard about ordering arebuilt unit and doing it myself, but that thing is friggin heavy, and I'm going to want to blow LOTS of smoke as soon as my plane touches down.
