Transmission? TPS?

Had an issue pop up last week. While towing the trailer empty, I pressed the button to bring the transmission into TOW/HAUL mode. After that, the transmission is acting strange. When put into D or R, it acts like extra gas pedal is being applied. When you take it out of gear and put it into N or D, the rpm's go up (to around 2k) then come back down - idle is normal out of gear. No codes from engine or transmission.

Try resetting the APPS. Unhook the batteries for 30 mins and then hook them back up, turn key on slowly press the pedal to the floor and slowly let off of it.

Sounds like your TC may be toast causing it to partially engage the lockup clutch. Stock TC?

Tried resetting the APPS. No luck. I did read where on 06 that it's not possible to reset anymore? Anyway....I found a new sensor on ebay for $60. I'll try that first.

And the tranny is 100% stock at 88k. Tows maybe 15% of the time.

Replaced the TPS pedal assy. No change. We are thinking maybe one of the valves in the tranny now.
