Triple turbo, TWIN p pump truck back at it.

Older video of the truck, 9.74 in a long bed extended cab is pretty awesome!

Wow! Is the twin P-pump really necessary? I've never seen a big single P-pump truck with like 14mm plungers starve for fuel.

The twin pumps were mainly used for timing. The one pump was turned by a cog drive belt with an adjustable tensioner on it that could vary the timing almost 20degrees. Both pumps also ran different static timing numbers to start with.

Still an older video but shows more of what's going on with that second pump, I want to see what the new setup looks like up close!! I see more shiny stuff hiding under the hood.

You do realize the video that you posted is over a year and a half old right? I don't think I'd call that "back at it"

That truck sported a 2.6 charger for last season after a head failure early on if I'm not mistaken.

I was skeptical til I saw it running 9's. This thing was the definition of sleeper. I believe that was about the same year they got it going.

Air/Fuel ratio seems to be off a bit.

How? Looks like a typical 12 valve lumbering down the track.

There is a 2013 season recap video that I just stumbled on and it does look like he cleans the fuel up a bit better in that one.

I really like the idea of variable timing with the belt. I don't see why you couldn't do that with a single pump. It'd just be a lot of work and a custom timing case.

why a custom case? if you can run a second pump on a belt why not just run a single primary pump off a belt?

I am surprised there is no issue with one pump back feeding through the lines to the other or something of that nature given they are at different timing.

That's what delivery valves are for. They would prevent the back feeding
