Our truck seems to be laying down once it hits overdrive?

The truck leaves hard and seems to pull good through the 1/8th mile. Somewhere around the 1/8th mile the truck hits OD. This is somewhere around 90mph. Then the truck just feels like it is in cruise control and the converter seems to be locking/unlocking. It was evident driving and watching.
A friend that used to own a trans shop and drag race thinks that it is the converter. Says it is fairly common in OD with a heavy vehicle and high torque motor. Called Goerend today but I am still waiting to hear back from them.

71mm turbo
12mm pump
Hamilton 200/220
3.55 gears (30" tall tires)
Goerend triple with a stock stall

You have to wind it up before you go into over drive. How big are your sticks, make sure you have enough fuel to spin it. Im shifting my 478 at around 4k and I fell off of it sat. Going alil looser on converter if Goerend calls me back, and going bigger on injectors. I think when I was running the 71 I was shifting 3500-3700 in that area.

Tell him to call the Pazaks when your done with him lol.

Just hung up before I saw this. Sorry. Try now!

Going to try a manual OD switch. Hopefully that will help us out. We were letting the computer do OD before.
