Truck struggles to get fuel

When I start my truck it sounds like it's starving for fuel.
After crank up I have to wait a few sec before I can touch the peddle or else it will bog down like I just ran out of fuel, but if I keep my foot on it, it suddenly picks up and starts running fine.
 
Any thoughts or ideas?
I have tried adjusting my airdog but that didn't work. Maybe my filters are dirty?
 
is it throwing any codes?
do have a normal fuel pressure gauge?
you could pull your line off that runs up to your cp3 or fuel canister and run that hose in a bucket and turn the key on that will tell you also if you are getting fuel. I bet the airdog isnt your problem but you could try it anyway. if you have never changed the filters you should change them. there should be a fuse in the airdog check it also.

How long has it been since the fuel filter was changed on the AD system?
