Wondering if anyone had ever weighed the 4 corners of thier reg cab longbed? Looking to get an approximate weight on the front corners to have some suspension made up but have no way of weighing my truck as its in peices.

My ext cab long bed, each front corner weighed 2k pounds making 4k total front. The rear was I beleive around 1300 each corner. This was with out me in it. Those were with dot scales at my police department. Next day I took it to a stone and block place with a big over all scale and with me in it, hair over quarter tank of fuel, no rear seat, no center console, 35in tires weighed 6900lbs.

nice that should be close enough for what I need thanks guys

ive never weighed each corner, i dont know how you would do that but my reg cab 4x4 weighed 5800 by itself. thats with only one seat in and almost no diesel

My 95' Junker 2WD auto trans single cab long bed weighed 5475 total with me 220lbs, 10 gallons of fuel, and half gutted interior like no radio, speakers, ash tray, carpet, center console, etc. I also removed one battery.

I'd guess completely stock would weigh right around 5600 with no driver.

my 98 is heavy as sh@t then. 1/4 tank with me in it and it was 6840, lifted regular cab 5 speed on 35's. guess i got alot of stuff in my tool box. chains and a tool box and what not

Guess I am glad the title says the 98 weighs 5360...otherwise I move into the next level license plate fees at $65 annual...

Legally you need to have it licensed for the GVW not the empty weight! I'm guessing that yours is 8800 lbs GVW and can get away with an 8000 lbs license plate. I have both of my 2500 licensed at 10,000 lbs for pulling trailers legally. By the way that costs me $155 per truck per year, plus $218 for my gooseneck trailer.

NC charges by weight of vehicle OR GVW if it is used for hauling.

Basic truck (under 4500 lbs) is $28 year

Trucks 4501--6000 pounds are $42 per year

Trucks over 6001 are $68 per year.

Weighted plates have an additional charge (some percentage formula) added to the above fees.

^^^ i would be delighted at that!!! PA charges about triple those prices. my old class 4 9200lb gvw was $196 a year. my 8800 gvw now is something like 150+

Before the big tires and new wheels 6250-6300 with my 220lb self in it. Weighed on Delmar US13 Dragway Scales and also landfill scale.

Weighed my truck for the pulls last weekend. '94 rclb, leveled, 18x10's w/ 33"x13.50" MTZ's, 1/2 tank, me in it, 6730lbs

My 98 12v from the last year:

Front left : 990 kg- > 2182 lbs
Front right : 990 kg- > 2182 lbs

Rear left : 620 kg -> 1369 lbs
Rear right: 590 kg -> 1300 lbs

Weigt balance : front 61 % and rear 39%

Total weight: 3190 kg - > 7032 lbs
