turbine wheel wear?

i pulled one of my turbo's off the shelf for inspection tonight and come across this on the turbine wheel:

the cuts are uniform around the entire wheel and are perfectly smooth. did the wheel come like this or has it ingested something? all other ones i have are a flat edge except for one bad one that has jagged cuts in the wheel. i have searched hi and low for images of turbine wheels and can find none that look like this one. if it is damage then can it be still run in its current state?

That's interesting, may be some sort of clip done?
Clean it good and look for machine marks then run it.

ht60 but has a 73.5mm ht3b compressor wheel in it from my current research.

Scrap metal. That is heat damage, see the pitting around the leading edges where the metal was starting to bubble/deform.
