turbo question

my dad is currently running a sps66 with cpp 7x12 injs. he doesn't like the turbo lag from the sps66 and smoking up his camper and boat when converter locks in OD at 55mph (3;55 gears so low rpm) what turbo would be a better match for quicker spool up? ps62/70? ps62/80? or any other suggestions

Id say a 63/68 from forced inductions. What else sites it have done to it?

I should have been more informative... he doesn't like the lag in od and lag from stand still

Can't have your cake and eat it too! Not with just one turbo that is...

Sounds like he would love a smallish set of twins. A he351 over a 3b would be good and fairly cheap. Prob $800 or so in both chargers

What stall is the converter? Also, we have a 63/68 as well. Let me know if you need pricing.
