V10 Nv 4500

just bought a '98 12 valve that needs a tranny, i have a buddy with a spare nv 4500 sittin in a V10 dodge, im thinkin that the input shafts are different but ill probably go with a 1 3/8 shaft any way does any body know if the internals such as mainshaft and gears are different also if the front bearing retainer is the same size... any input is appreciated thanks
 
okay thanks... now i just have to talk him into parting with it for cheap:poke:
 
okay i lied i thought it was a v10 cuz he told me that it had an nv4500 so i assummed it was a v10 because i thought thats the only other engine that dodge put the 4500 behind... so after finding out it was a v8 360 i believe i did some research and found that the input shafts and bell housings are different (input is 1 1/8").... would you be able to just swap the input shaft and the bellhousing between the two???? is there any other differences like the mainshaft or any thing.... if anybody knows the answer to my question i appreciate it
