OK, got another question, when you say built transmission, does that mean a whole new one or could i just get a torque converter, and input/output shafts and stuff like that and it work

Do it right the first time.....

send it to BTS, John Woods or Suncoast, throwing parts at it can build a strong trans, but sending it to someone who does it every day will build a stonger, longer living one....

I've got a Full Billet Suncoast trans in mine, a bit overkill for what I do with it, but it is built like a brick house. I would get the Suncoast Superduty rebuild kit, good product, and have somebody knoledgeable with these transmissions assemble it.
