I'm ready to start a 12v conversion. I have most of the power details nailed down, but the doner vehicle part is giving me fits because I live in California. I just talked to someone at CARB and the issue there is you can't put a less stringent platform engine (diesel) into a more stringent platform (gas) vehicle.
So, it looks like cutting down a RCLB 2500 2wd into a RCSB might be an option. My question then is, what is the weight difference between the two?
