What head to get?

What is a good source for a new 12v head? Nothing too crazy, but will have it o-ringed. 60# springs would be a plus.

What is the best way to go?

I can tell you do NOT buy from Tri-State that sells them on Ebay. They are cheap nockoffs and are junk.

I have looked at Alabama, Tri-state, and PDP. To me it looks like they all have the same picture.

I have heard of people getting the Alabama one and replacing the retainers and locks with Cummins stuff. Will probably do the 60# springs too.

This is going on a VE, so about 4200 will be all the higher she spins for now.

As much as I would like too, a $3000 head will have to stay on the wish-list.
 
Just found a chrysler warehouse that has the heads that they use for 5 hrs on test stand motors.$900 for each
