OK, what HP/TQ would it take to make my ext cab 4wd long bed truck run 13's? The details of what I've done so far are in my sig. I might consider running Nitrous to be able to keep the smoke down, as I don't want to get into turbos with a lot of lag and can't afford twins right now anyway. I know 13's with a 12V should be relatively easy, and I'm not so much looking at what mods to do as just what HP number I need to shoot for.

Thanks for any suggestions,
George

If you have good traction, and are geared within your power curve, (which you should be) then it mostly just comes down to power-to weight ratio. I had a little V8 Vega wagon (sleeper) that ran 13.6@102 weighing in at 3010lbs with 197rwhp, so I would say if you weighed around 7000# it would take about 450whp to be safely into the 13s. Give or take of course.
