What is the Best type of Block/Coolant Heater for my truck??

Don't know what they're called but try replacing the spring clamp with a hose clamp maybe.

i figured that much, thanks though, im always over thinking... but to the OP i just called chrysler about the block heater cord, $71.29!!! anyone know where they are cheaper than that? somebody said $25 dollars??

sidenote to this thread, not to derail it, but what are those rubber pieces connecting the two hardlines called? if you look at D45 pics you can see what im talking about there is a third one of those towards the back of the block and mine is leaking some antifreeze out of it... hard spot to get to and im not sure what those little rubber hose pieces are called?

It's heater hose but I normally use a multi purpose hose that had the silcone interior. Any napa should have it by the foot for $5-7/ft

What happened to just plugging it in and leaving it be? :what: I would think the block heater would be plenty assuming the element is still good.
