K guys I found a smoking deal on a ht4b, my question is what would b a good secondary for this charger? Its a street strip truck wanna make around 700hp. Setup is a 12v, helix cam, 5×20s, 5k springs, lazar cuts on a 160 pump. I seen some using a he351 with this setup and have great success. Would a hx40 work better cuz a slightly larger exhaust side?

I have a Super B Special (64/71/14) over my ht4b. It will make 10psi by 1700rpm and when it lights you better be ready. This is a 215 pump on a 24v with comp delivery valves, 6x16s and 22* timing.

my buddy has a box s366 with a t4 .91 housing but im afraid it might be a bit laggy till it comes to life..

Since you're running a 160 pump which is more rpm limited than a VP44, you should stick with a small-ish secondary turbo.

I'm confident my 351 over HT4B setup has enough air to produce 800 HP at the wheels fuel only and it makes gobs of torque so it's fun on the street.

I'd imagine anything from 57mm to 66mm will run well with an HT4B, the real question is do you want to sacrifice 200-500 rpm worth of spool-up for 25-50 peak horsepower? The He351/HT4B setup produced over 1000 ft-lbs torque at the rear wheels at 1900 rpm and an amazing 1200 ft-lb at 2000 rpm. I'd guess an S366/HT4B under identical circumstances would be down in the 500 ft-lb range at 1900 rpm, good for bottom end parts longevity, bad for street-use fun and/or clean running.

That's exactly what I was thinking. I eventually wanna get a 13mm but the 160 will have to do for now. I want a nice broad powerband. Hey blue wanna sell ur 4b??

I am leaning towards a 62/63 myself. Don't trust the strength of the he351

I went back and did a quick search through your junker thread. Have you ever taken or posted drive pressure readings in front of that he351?
