whats the hp of a stock 03 and 04 dodge

I was looking at a couple of truck one is a 2003 and the other is a 2004 dodge diesel both are auto's.

didnt know what the factory hp was for them, and what else to look for one has 205,000 the other has about 170,000.

is there anything else other then the ususally like tranny, injectors etcs

On the driver side of the valve cover there is a sticker that tells you the hp rating for that motor.

on the 03 it depends on if it is the so or the ho,, the ho is 305 555, as is the 04. This translates to approx 250 260 rwhp. I cant remember exactly what the so is for hp, but considerably less

I was told never to consider buying my 555 early 04, as it would never break 600hp. Good thing I'm hard headed....

Wow, that's crazy. I am going to put on 110HP DDP nozzles soon, and will most likely have to upgrade to an Airdog 150 from my 100. I hope I can make 600HP with everything in my sig and the nozzles and fuel pump upgrade.
