which axle would be better a dana 70 or a sterling 10.25 whith a 12v movin the gears.

A dana 70hd would be more superior than Sterling 10.25.. A Dana 80 would be most superior...

80 is a 11" ring gear, AAM is obviously a 11.5", 70 is a 10.5", and sterling is obviously a 10.25" take your pick.

Ford 10.25 FF Rear - 8300 MOT (2000 COT)

Looks like the Dana 70 is rated for quite a bit more.

another point to look at is the aftermarket support of said axles...the 11.5 AAM is not well supported yet for ratios and posi/locker selections were as the danas' are

You bolded the GM 14 bolt jilbert...not the aam 1150....

the newer sterlings, super duty ones, are 10.5 not 10.25, not that it really matters tho.
