What model intercooler have yall been using for your 70's model Ford conversions. I am going to use a Hellmann intercooler but wondering what model to copy (dodge(12v or common rail), ford(7.3 or 6.0)
I used a 1st gen dodge in my 77. I think the 7.3 would fit almost at easily. Also seen a guy use one from an 06 dodge but I think he had to trim it a little bit.
When I had the stock front clip in my 75 I used a 1st gen dodge,When I made a 79 front clip into a tilt I used a 2000 ford IC.I don't think the 2000 one would have fit to tall.
