More than likely.

I would have someone check the balance rates in park and drive. Then see if it holds max rail psi at idle.

I forgot to mention...check the oil for signs of fuel contamination.

I'm not familiar with the CTX.

A TechII or EFI Live will read balance rates and change the commanded rail pressure. With the two you would check the commanded vs actual. Commanded would be 24K and if I remember right anything over 21K is passing...under 21K is fail.
 
That's what mine started doing and my balance rates were not looking so good!
 
My snapon modish will do all that. I always look at the temp/pressure reading the ecm is receiving from all the engine sensors. White smoke can be caused by a bad maf sensor, bad coolant temp data etc... Being its LB7 most likely its injectors.
