I can't seem to find specs on this filter that tell me why I couldn't use it on a 97 12valve. Local Carquest says don't use it just buy one from us but won't tell me why it won't work. So, anybody?

That's looks to be for a industrial Cummins. The threads are different between dodge and industrial ISB

Hmm maybe if I'd have tried to thread it on I'd have saved myself the trouble. Lol Carquest said it was for a Kenworth with the ISB so I just assumed it would be basically the same.

You don't want a paper media filter anyway. Fleetguard Stratapore is a much better choice.

Truck has a Baldwin filter on it since the new motor 40k ago and it rolled out the door with another Baldwin.
