Words cannot express my excitement!!!

For as much noise as it make you'd think the back tires should be breaking traction in attempt to stop the truck. Exhaust brakes are better.

That's cool....sounds exactly like the old Jacobs engine brakes on the NTC cummins engines, looks like it works about 1/10th as good though, those old thing would bark the tires if you were bobtailing

Is this readily available? How is some random kid with a beat up 1st gen the only one who has one? Doesn't look like it works very well.

I LOVE the sound! It is in the 1st stages of development so there is probably room for improvement. As it is, its a pretty big engineering feat where there at!

Braking effectiveness? We don't have any real numbers for two reasons, the first being that everytime we take the truck out for testing, we giggle like school girls, make videos, and post them on YouTube against our better judgement

:hehe:

*heads to shop to find a 12V core head to prep for de-24V swap.*

In one of the videos, he stated decompress. So is it like the PAC Brake model that supposed to be used in conjunction with an Exhaust Brake?
