Ive got a 1967 3/4 ton 4x4 ford. I'm swapping in a p-pumped 24v cummins w/built nv4500 trans out of a 2wd 1998.5 dodge dually. My goal is 900 hp to the ground. Ditching the divorced tranfer case for an Atlas II. also 37 inch dually wheels. maybe a dana 60 up front and for sure the dana 80 off the dodge on the rear and swapping in the power steering.

Do y'all think I should build a tube chassis or try to modify the 47 year old frame.

If you have the capability I see no reason not to do the tube chassis

Sent with a Droid RAZR in one hand and 14,000 volts in the other.

Id like to try a tube chassis. Ill see what I can find on it. How heavy should it be?

why not use the dodge chassis and chop off what you don't want to use?
