its got a little ve pump, but i am resreaching the p-pump swap. can any one lead me to the right direction.
Also where can you buy a p-pump for it that will flow up to 600-700hp?
they can be setup to run, I watche done put down 125 hp per cylinder at a dyno in MD, twin turbo's and buring wmo ciluted with a bit of diesel....... it was twin turbo'd and nasty when on the boost.;l
For 700 HP, you're probably going to need a custom billet pump unit so big $$$$$$$.
Better pull out a few credit cards. The P-pumps for the 4bt are rare so a core is hard to come by. For 700 HP, you're probably going to need a custom billet pump unit so big $$$$$$$.
Do you have to have a core to buy one? Since they are so rare anyways
I really do not see the need for a 13mm 4bt-P7100. We have not yet got a race ready 4bt together but with the number we've seen I do not believe that 700hp on fuel only with a 12mm pump is a far stretch.
If the same modifications are applied to the 4B as a 12 valve you'll the same power increases. We closed in on 300 from a VE 4BT before the 11" clutch became the limiting factor. There's a lot of fuel in those little pumps, but they get to a place where they're finicky and cost a lot for just a little more making the P7100 a better option. With it's dynamic timing the VE makes a better setup for lower power levels. You can achieve mileage and off idle driveability that's difficult for the P7100 to match.
A 250HP 4B in a <6000 pound vehicle is a pretty fun ride.
