I moved into a new place a few weeks ago. The shop has Broomed concrete finish. Why would anyone put rough concrete in the shop?/? Oh well.

I was going to have the floor ground before I moved all of my stuff in, but that didnt happen.

So as I was sweeping up the floor to bring a truck in, and I was choking on all the dust I was making, I thought there has to be a better way.

Until I can figure out what to do with the floor I thought maybe I could get one of these:

I found one on CL for 75 bucks.

Has anyone used one? I was wondering how well they work and if the bag does a desent job of filtering the dust, or is it just going to pick it up off the floor and put it into the air.

Anyone have any experence with these?

Thanks for any input.

Most of the time those rough floor are to make the floor not slick when wet. Was it a livestock building at one time?

Well lots of oil would be slick also. LOL, I understand though the rough floors are harder to keep clean.

I could just have you over one day, You have enough suck that the whole shop and barn would be dust free.
