it sucks that this thread turned from what it started to what it is now, but, i did receive 2 phone calls from 2 different people and both said.."there is a white megacab out here and it ran 11.1 something" I was there at the track on the thursday before his run on sunday, and the time lights at the end were broke. the whole night we had to talk to each other to see what everyone ran. I want Wicked to get the roll cage so I can see him run again here in Bradenton! ahh..what i would do to own a 11 sec 4door pickup......

Rollbar will be on within two weeks and I will be up at Bradenton to light her up. Any word on when the clocks will be back up. Would like to video the run to have a video of the run becuase a timeslip and witness's are not enough anymore.

the lights have got to be up...they had a big race this weekend so im sure they are fixed. I go every thursday for test & tune so i'll check it out. Make sure you let me know when you coming to Bradenton. I'll be there with a camera!!!

For starters the center of gravity between a 4wd truck and an awd car is vastly different........$.02

I'll buy that, I'm curious as to how low one can lower a 4x4. 2? 3 inches?

On comments that there is test and tune days on THURSDAYS makes me wanna get out of the retarded state of MN. The racing population around here just blows. It sucks to have to drive 1.5 hours to any sort of race track. Makes ya think twice every time.

there is test and tune all the time. Wicked ran at one on sunday. I usually go to the ones on thursday. They also have a saturday morning session.....

wicked its nice that u are finally putting a cage in that w1cked truck

I for one think that stripping a truck is Gay if u are going to race a truck race it with what u have in it. Thats all part of having a DD. I dont strip my truck just to go to the race track. If i wanna run 10's i am going to do it at full race weight of my everyday package. Thank about it for a minute u pull up and the Wally world and some dude in a viper wants to race. It makes u looks stupit saying well i gotta take my subs out gotta take my big tires and rims off gotta take my back seat out. Whats up with that??

i saw something very intresting today this guy claims his truck is somewhre between 1000 and 1200 hp his name is john torino from down here in the west pal area and i can testify he def has the fastest most baddest cr out there he said he ran a best of a 10.34 at 148 and his 60ft time was 1.6 i didnt believe it but then i got in the truck and i was blown away any one else know this truck its unreal

I believe this very true but when it comes to building these big diesel trucks and getting them into some low times its nice to be able to strip them down and loose a little weight and also not have to worry about being crushed by other objects inside the cab if you do happen to wreck, if you leave all your weight in ( speakers, backseat, baby seat, whatever ) just dont use it as an excuse to say why u lost. The lighter you are the faster you are! just my $.02

I know this truck has a 10 sec. pass comming. A roll cage makes it very cool. If you powder coat it they look pretty nice. We have a new header manifold that you could try. It has proved to make spoolup quicker by 200-300 rpm and drop egt's by 300 deg. My son's may have already sent you one? The external wastegate version is a work of art. It's nice to keep everyone guessing about what you can do next. Is that tranny doing good now? It's very cool when your blazing new trails in Diesel Motorsports. Keep us updated! Thanks, Brady

I agree. I know some guys who say things like they had all kinds of heavy tools in the cab, and their big sub box and amp, etc....that's about the most bonehead move one can make. I'm sure plenty of people have seen videos online of what happens when a car wrecks and/or rolls over with all kinds of crap in it. I personally am more impressed the faster a vehicle goes, and if it takes removing weight and putting smaller tires on so be it! Remember, you get respect for what you do at the track and actually doing it ON the track NOT THE STREET Mr. 2wd Dmax that thinks it's common to find Vipers leaving Wal-Mart.:umno:

What coloris it? I have seen a few in WPB but nothing that fast ...... Moroso closes May 19th until the fall. We need to do a test and tune night before that.

If it isn't bolted down, or belted in, it's not in the cab of my truck. DOG INCLUDED! Exceptions are "coats" or my "backpack". maybe groceries here and there. but not a 40# sub and sub box and 20" metal amps. It's not hard to secure those things.
