I have a 1997 international 4700 with a 7.3 and a bad Allison 542. I found a trans out of a 2000 model but I wasn't 100 percent it would work. Any one have any experience with these? Or know what years could interchangeable... Thanks
06 dodge spun a rod bearing on #5, took the crank to the machine shop to get turned and they discovered a crack on one of the mains. I have two 12v cranks that just need a little work. Will they work? I know I have to press the gear off and drill for the pin in the front. Thanks
Swapping from nv4500 to 47re and need a 23 spline input for a 241HD to finish this up. Located in ft. worth texas.... Also have a 29 spline input for a 241LD for sale. Thanks
Twisted and cracked billet input, and a broke stock output, stock intermediate shaft is fine. All the intermediate shafts i've seen break have been billet, I like to leave the output as a weak link, I would much rather break an output than an input and lose the converter and pump
Had a buddy offer to buy my current twin set up a he351 over a s475/73/1.10 t4, for $1700. I built them myself so they dont look very good. The he351 is in perfect shape but the s475 has a chipped comp and turbine wheel. Should i sell them and get a 68/73/.90 t4 charger? Just converted my truck...
Putting a 47re in place of the nv4500 in my 97. I need the 23 spline input for the t-case, maybe someone is doing a 5 speed conversion and wants to trade. 817-487- one zero five four. Thanks
Got a truck that the tach works for about 5 seconds then drops to zero. After about a minute of running truck kinda revs up on its own real rough and tach starts working for a second, I dont have my scanner here to read the codes. Does this sound like a Cam or Crank sensor? its a 98 24 valve...
