Im drawing up some plans for a project Im calling #locoMOTIVE My first question is what size tubing do you guys think I should make the frame out off? Its gonna have an 8.3L Cummis with an 10 speed, military axles, and built to tow 30,000lbs.

So I decided to build a tube chassis for it. The front axle is going to be a Dana Super 60 off a medium duty ford. I want the truck body to sit 8 inches higher than it is, so like equivlent to 4 inch suspension lift and building the tube frame that much taller like a 4 inch body lift...

Ive got a 1967 3/4 ton 4x4 ford. I'm swapping in a p-pumped 24v cummins w/built nv4500 trans out of a 2wd 1998.5 dodge dually. My goal is 900 hp to the ground. Ditching the divorced tranfer case for an Atlas II. also 37 inch dually wheels. maybe a dana 60 up front and for sure the dana 80 off...
