01 electronic cruise doesn't work

Haha that's why I got kicked off CF, nobody over there would believe me that an 01 could have ecm controlled cruise. I am pretty sure 01 and 02 HO 6 speed trucks had ecm controlled cruise, I was not sure about 2000 h.o. motors with the 6 speed. Or even if they made the 245 hp motor in 2000 year trucks?? I know the 6 speed was offered then but it had the smaller input shaft.

Also, you weren't banned on CF for anything relating to cruise control..... lot more to it.

When the cruise quit working, did the "cruise" light still turn on when you turned the cruise on? My old truck quit on a whim this spring and the cruise light doesn't even turn on.

I don't know when it quit working, it has never worked for me. Right now, the cruise light stays lit all the time.
