Forget about a cp3 as a lift pump. There are so many better options.

I think a better solution would be a common rail conversion for the VP trucks.
sleepin sport its the same idea as the mitusa, i just dont know the gph rating of it. the waterman like meacham and darren morrison run comes in different flow ratings.
oh ok, the only down side to the mitusa is the fact that it's on the bottom of the engine and could be subject to some damage from road debri or something getting caught. Other than that it's able to supply anywhere from 15psi up to or over 100psi depends on the pump model and pulley size.
I use to have an email from Opie regarding the gph and different flow ratings based on the different set-ups. If I find it, I'll make sure and post it.
Well I disagree with the fact stated above. :what: Most all the Dodge Mitusa systems are on the bottom. I have yet to to have one get damaged from road debris. I have had to replace a couple pulley's and seals none of which was related to road debris. For the guys running twin CP3's the Mitusa is mounted next to the CP3 which can be seen here.

As for gpm the bigger pump will supply over 1400 hp and in most cases pressures can be customized to what ever the customer wants. There is even a bigger pump available that will be brought out when the need finally requires it.
From what I've read on other forums (not from my personal experience) other people don't like having it mounted on the bottom of the engine (hooked up to the crank). I understand that you haven't had one break because of something hitting it off the road. So since he's trying to come up with an idea of mounting a mechanical lift pump, I tried to let him know that there's already something similar to what he's describing but he could design it (mount) different.
