01 starting problem

hi all,

a neighbor has an 01 2500.it will only start on level ground or pointing down hill.he has replaced the lift pump with a holy blue.this has been going on for several months.he is finally tired of it.

any thoughts?

Could be the screen in the bottom if the fuel pump, any Fuel PSI readings?

he does not have a pressure guage on it.i have been after him to do that.i will tell him to check the screen as he is getting near for a filter changs.

Sorry I should have been more clear last night, I meant the screen at the bottom of the fuel pickup in the fuel tank. Mine had a bad seal and let grime in and the fuel pickup was nasty and the screen was basically completly covered causing some symptons like described.
