04 5500 won't start, what engine?

Have a no start that was purchased dead. 59,000 miles. Figure if it cranks over easily it may be a fuel issue, but not sure what style engine it may be? How to tell? Thanks folks.

Are the injectors under the valve covers or are they visible outside the engine? Under the valve covers means its an LB7, visible means it's an LLY.

they don't have lift pumps so if it is pulling even a little air they will no start.

If it is an LLY check the fuses. It can have wiring harness problems at the injector and short it blowing the fuse allowing it not to start. Thats what my 04 would do even after having the issues fixed at the dealer.
