04 or 04.5???

I am looking at a truck for sale and the sticker on the side of the valve cover has been removed so i cant tell if it is a early 04 or late 04 but it was manufactured in March of 04 so wouldn't this be a 04.5 600???

look at the fan shroud. the 305's have a flat one attached to the rad and a 600 has an indention and is attached to the motor iirc

Look at the Exhaust system also. If it has a converter before the muffler then its an 04.5 i believe. Correct me if im wrong guys. I would have the VIN # run and they can tell you exactly whats in it. Thats what i did on my 05 2500(they had it listed as an 04).

04.5 also has an electronic soleniod screwed into the compressor housing of the turbo. It will be screwed in where the hose for the waste gate actuator is located.

I was but needed to get something with less miles and that would be more reliable. And its the truck ive always wanted and finally found one so i jumped on it.
