04 transmission lines

I had to cut the transmission lines on my truck when I swapped trannys. I was wondering how much pressure runs in those lines, because I was wondering if I just put a hose in with hose clamps if it would hold or not

You need something that is rated for oil and at least 250 degrees. I would do stainless braided lines with compression fittings

Exactly as he said^ I run braided 8an with matching fittings.

Oil rated hose with clamps works fine. I use hydraulic hose on mine though.

Buy new lines!

Or use those fittings I text u about earlier

Compression fittings would be the best if the lines you cut butt right together.
If you have to splice in oil rated hose, you could use oetiker clamps on the hose ends.
