06 sport front bumper

does anyone know is the sport front bumper just a cover that you can put over your chrome bumper? thanks I would liek to get the sport front bumper a nd paint ot match truck, wasnt sure about brackets and stuff though...

From what I read back when I wanted one, you must get the whole new bumper. I can't remember what the reasoning was, I just want to think people said there was a problem. I ended up just swapping my SLT bumper for an ST bumper, and painted the ST to match...
