09 6 speed into 04.5 CR auto

hey guys i was wondering if this would work?

i have the ability to trade my auto tranny out of my 04.5, for the manual tranny out of a 2009 cummins
 
It should if the housings mat5ch up. Not sure if the 6.7 is the same? He will need the harness and brain also!
 
You may be okay but he will have alot of work to do. You will need his pedals,if they will even interchange. I was told by a tranny shop to look for another truck because it's a lot of work. Possible changes would be flywheel, starter, computer, cross members, drive shafts, steering columns ? And doubt they will work because of the year difference. I was gonna trade for an auto which was the same year and was told to walk away by a few different people.
 
i would say no to that one for the reasons being you dont know for sure to match up and because that tranny is poop compared to the nv5600 now if ya want i would trade you dead up for my 04.5 6 speed depending on where you are at
