Id really like to see this rule done away with for 2010. Why have it? I know the idea is to have the supsension actually "work" but thats a weak argument. As soon as you tighten up the chain your truck will be sitting on the blocks anyway. I would rather drop one inch of hitch height and run solid instead of having full hitch height with one inch of travel. I have discussed this with several other 2.6 class pullers and they feel the same way. This rule really doesnt accomplish anything except make it a PITA. Plus half the time it doesnt even get teched so the ones that actually abide by the rule are at a disadvantage to those that sneak by. I also feel that in some situations it may help contribute to bouncing and more stress on drivetrain parts. Please note that there is a difference between "solid/welded suspensions" and "solid blocked".
