Thinking about selling my auxillary fuel tank. Havent used it in 11 months and want the bed space back.

Was put in my truck new in May 2007.

115 Gallon stated capacity. About flush with bed rails. I had a Truxedo bed cover, the bed cover barely touched the caps. Pretty sure it has a DOT apprved stamp on it somewhere. (here is where I got it - Dually Depot of Elkhart Indiana Products and Services - THE DUALLY DEPOT)

Will come with the pump, filter head (maybe an extra filter, I think I have a new one or two), hoses, sending unit for a fuel level gauge. You will need the filler neck adapter (about $25 from dually depot last time I checked)

I dont think it will fit a short bed truck.

THE BAD/UGLY -

- summer of 2008 ( a few months out of warranty) it got a hairline crack in a seam. I pulled it, wire brushed the crack, and slopped some JBWeld on it. It never leaked again.

- The Pump always pumps, but if you run it dry it doesnt want to self prime below 1/2 a tank or so. Fill it up, it self primes fine.

This is still in my truck. Not going to pull it until someone wants it. So, depending on work schedule it may tank a day or up to a few days to get the time to pull it.
