12.48 @ 105.7

I went to the track tonight with my truck. Same setup (in my signature) as last weekend at Rudy's when I did 595/1220 on Dunbar's dyno. Tune was a standard Spartan 310/TCM file. Best pass of the night was a 12.48@105.7. All of my passes were made on fuel. My truck doesn't have a nitrous setup and won't see one for a long time. I am extremely happy with the times I ran tonight. Had a couple in the 12.52-12.54 range and few 12.60's. Track conditions were ideal with temps being in the low 50's and high 40's. It seemed the colder it got, the worse off the track was though. It was about 52 degrees when I ran the 12.48 and once it dropped down in to the high to mid 40's, I couldn't get the truck to hook up as well.

Yep. I also cut a 1.68 on a 12.52 pass. I was consistently cutting 1.70's though. CalTracs and weight loss made a huge difference off the line from last summer.

Yea. I expected when I saw that E/T and trap speed combo that it would be tough to top it. That was my second pass of the night, and out of 8 passes 12.52@105.6 was the closest I could get.

Yeah, thats what my gut told me, but I've learned NOT to trust my gut lol. Especially after seeing stuckey's truck.

It was hooking, but it wasn't hooking great. I was leaving the line at 20 psi, and with the cold track temps it wasn't hooking that great. Hopefully next Friday night the track will be a little tackier.

Thanks David. Race weight was around 7900 lbs. I'm going to hit the scales next time I head to the track and see exact weight, but going by similar setup trucks plus my weight, 7900 is a good guess.
