Ok, I put my engine today in the truck and i have a problem so i need some help, please someone help me. i need to pull my engine back 4 inches but its very close to fire wall, what can i do??? do i have to extend my driveshaft?? or there is another solution.

P.S. is any body have the same setup as me?? 12v cummins nv4500 and 271 ford tcase. How did it worked out for you?? did you do any modifications to driveshaft?? or it just fit fine??? and how did you connect nv4500 with ford tcase.

looks like a fun build. any engine mods? i sent ya a PM also

i know it might not be the best way but to give some clearance in the back to open up some room you can "massage" the firewall with a bfh... someone might have a better option tho

Get the shafts made. A local shop will can cut the front and make a new mid rear shaft made.

Why are you even looking at a 205?

205 have same spline cout 31 as 271 and 6 holes for conecting with nv4500.

Just get an input shaft, mine was around $200 shipped. I forget where.
