12V in a 51 chevy pickup

Sweet man, i have a 5 window "big bolt" truck and wold love to build something similar to this. Just 4x4 and not a huge truck like it is now. i love this build so much cause my 47 was one of the first trucks i played with and that style will always have a special place haha.

now throw a nice turbo on there some fuel, fat tires and hit the strip!! hehehe
 
Yea I plan on running it like it is for now and getting all of the bugs worked out. Then pull it all apart build the engine and trans along with a big cage and make it go fast.

That is awesome! The sound coming from the truck doesn't match the truck but it's ever-so-right! Congrats!

No it has a 47re with a manual valvebody.

Progress has been slow lately I've been working on the house. But I did manage to build a new exhaust system that exits out the back side behind the rear fender. Pics coming soon
